Pritam Grewal for Hounslow Central
Pritam has lived in Hounslow for 41 years. He is standing for re-election in Hounslow Central having served as a Councillor since 2002 and many years in the Cabinet. Pritam was also Mayor of Hounslow in 2012-2013. Now retired from working at Heathrow Airport, Pritam owns a business in the ward and spends much of his time helping the local community. He was a school governor for both Alexandra Schools, junior and infant. He is a member of the GMB Union and an active member of Brentford and Isleworth Constituency Labour Party.
As a Councillor in Hounslow Central alongside Ajmer and Nisar, Pritam has already made significant contributions to the community, particularly to local facilities. Improvements at Inwood/Thornbury Park have led to more users than ever before, and working with residents’ associations and developers will see new facilities at Hounslow Quarter too. He has also helped local businesses by introducing free parking on Kingsley Road, introducing a temporary car park on Hanworth Road, CPZ in residential roads, and easing parking pressure near tube stations. Together they have supported a new build for Hounslow Town Primary School, which offers improved facilities and more spaces.
