Katherine is the Cabinet Member for Climate, Environment and Transport. She has served as a councillor for Syon and Brentford Lock ward (formerly Syon ward) since 2014 and has previously held various Cabinet portfolios including Housing, Communities, and Public Health. Katherine served as Deputy Leader of the Council from 2022 – 2024.

In 2019 Katherine initiated the council’s declaration of a Climate Emergency, leading to the development of the borough’s Climate Emergency Action Plan. Her priorities are reducing Hounslow’s carbon footprint, cleaning up the air, enabling active travel, and improving access to sustainable transport.

Katherine lives in Isleworth and works for an organisation that funds scientific research.
